Hacked Again? Pathetic.
Recently, all of my websites were hacked. A cheap stunt, carried out by people who clearly had nothing better to do with their time. Let’s be very clear: this was a pointless act by complete idiots. What exactly did they achieve? Nothing. They didn’t steal data, they didn’t cause lasting harm, and they certainly didn’t break our spirit.
They managed to scribble graffiti on a digital wall — and that’s about it. Congratulations, I suppose?
Here’s the reality: they can hack my sites as many times as they want. Within 15 minutes, the system is wiped clean, freshly deployed, and back online. That’s the beauty of a robust infrastructure and a random guy that knows how to move fast.
So yes, we’ve been hacked. But the attackers can lick our ass for all we care. Their “victory” lasts a quarter of an hour at most, and then we’re back, stronger and more prepared.
If their goal was to intimidate us, they failed. If their goal was to stop us, they failed. If their goal was to prove themselves clever, well… all they really proved is that they’ve got nothing meaningful to show for their efforts.
